John-Paul is an experienced IT manager with a strong track record of working with multinational companies across Europe, Asia, and Australia. Outside of work, he is passionate about fitness and recreational sports, having competed in numerous triathlons, marathons, and mountain trail races over the years. JP, his wife Aasta, and swimmers Felix and Milo have been involved with MSC since the beginning and JP is honoured to now step into the role of President at Melbourne Swimming Club as the club enters an exciting phase of growth and success.
Marcus is the MSC Program Manager and a Bronze (Development) Licensed Coach. He is a former National Breaststroke finalist, placing in the top 5 in the country, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Melbourne.
Matt brings a wealth of IT, operational and project management knowledge to the team with over eight years of experience in the industry. Matt is passionate about finding innovative ways to enhance sport through technology. He's been actively involved in basketball both as a player and a coach in Europe and now in Australia.
Aasta is a multi-disciplined professional with a diverse background in education, healthcare, and IT. She has extensive experience working with young people both in Australia and overseas. Aasta holds a Bachelor of Education, a Master of Education (Special Needs & Inclusion), a Bachelor of Nursing, and recently earned a Certificate IV in Cybersecurity. A passionate advocate for inclusion, diversity, and the welfare of others, Aasta is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where every athlete can strive to achieve their best. Her sons, Felix and Milo, swim in the National Performance squad and have been members of MSC from the very beginning. She is deeply committed to lifelong learning and giving back to the community.
