Melbourne Swimming Club (MSC) is excited to announce the appointment of highly regarded coach, Julie-Anne Roberts to join the MSC coaching team.
Roberts joins MSC from Surrey Park, where she had coached several medallists at National, National Age and State Championships.
During her earlier tenure at Tigersharks, Roberts was selected as the Australian Youth Trans-Tasman Team assistant manager.
Prior to becoming a coach, Roberts competed successfully as a swimmer at the Australian Open championships and trained at the Australian Institute of Sport.
MSC Head Coach Ian Pope said: ‘It is excellent to have Julie-Anne join the coaching team at MSC. She is experienced, hardworking and has had great success with young swimmers.’
Coach Roberts commented: ‘I have always enjoyed working with Ian and I am excited about the next chapter in my coaching career. MSC has seen exceptional results in its first year and I look forward to helping the MSC swimmers develop as athletes and people.’
